lives are threatened in their homeland share the same survivalist determination
as the ambitious entrepreneur who comes here to improve his life. These are
the ones who will not stay behind and accept the status quo. Freedom and opportunity
are their most frequently expressed desires, although not all have realized
their dreams. They are living history and an important part of our national
